There is something happening in and around Tucumcari any time of the year!

The Eastern New Mexico Arts and Cultural Center sponsors events with diverse venues such as opera, country, mariachis, musicals, classical, and dance.

The last Saturday of every month, the County Exhibit Hall is the place for Bluegrass Music.

There is a wide variety of Senior Citizen activities sponsored by the Senior Olympics throughout the week and on almost every day of the week you can play Bingo somewhere in Tucumcari.

Special events abound all year with concerts, dances, fairs, arts and crafts weekends, and festivals. The Heart of Route 66 opens its doors each year to many events built around themes, holidays, and the pioneer spirit of the west.

The first part of the year offers the County Agricultural Fair, and Spring C.R.A.F.T. Show. Summer finds Tucumcari bustling with special occasions such as the Fired UP! Event in September, roping rodeo and horse shows, the Rattler Reunion, and the Quay County Fair. Winter starts with the Red Ribbon Carnival, then, the Christmas C.R.A.F.T.
